I feel bad for your wife.
I currently do have any attachments to the city I live in, besides my job. But I am actively job searching/ looking to leave. I guess part of me kinda wants to tell her that as things go, I would definitely be open to moving to her in the not so distant future, but I know it’s too soon right now. I do think that people who cheated can change if they figure out why they did it and put the work in, but I think it's pretty rare for the relationship to really survive. It's a lot of hurt and betrayal to process to the point of being ready to trust that person again.
