Two people in his life told me on he is a very hot head you’ll have to deal with that. I brought it up to him and he used it against me saying I was using that as leverage. Also, when i first saw him punch himself i comforted him of course (and it wasn’t because of me) and he was like I’m sorry you had to see that. But as the relationship went on I “caused” him to get angry. And toward the end he told me I used to be very compassionate toward him when i would tell him to just take a deep breath and breathe but that I am Not anymore.
Listen, you already are doing the best you can if you ask me. She is mentally suffering from her self-image and has a low self-esteem.
Maybe it's not about trying to take her mind off of it. But perhaps you just plainly ask her “You know, if you feel so terrible about yourself, maybe there is a way I can help you with this problem? We could do things together and set goals together?”
