Your potential threesome partners seem full of shit. First of all you are always within your rights to not go with any sexual plans you don't feel comfortable and changing your mind as your own mood shifts or new information arises is totally natural.
The accusation that you dangled the promise of threesome in order to solicit nudes makes no sense. She should have made the connection between the two things clear beforehand and even if she did the previous point still stands and you can press brakes when ever you want.

An emergency would be more likely to corner him into handling it. What about slower/subtler things like if one lost an appetite or hair over several months, as happens with cancer sometimes? Does he have a pattern of “just not noticing” until things boil over? He will probably repeat his previous behavior in either case.
I also raise an eyebrow at him insisting on physically checking in on you every six months for the foreseeable future. Maybe it’s just about the cats. But if he wanted a way to keep tabs on you and always have an innocent excuse, it would look just like this.

I think it’s super controlling that she’s asking you to cancel this trip, you’re not going off to get wrecked or be an idiot. You fucked up, but her holding it over your head like this is manipulative as hell and I don’t like the vibes I got reading it. I don’t think you should cancel your trip, but be prepared for her to end things because she might. And if that happens, good riddance. You should never have to sacrifice something important to you, and something that would actually be good for the soul (nature and time to yourself), for anyone and nobody should ever ask or expect you to without a very good life or death reason.
