  1. Seriously! It’s one thing finding it on your own, it’s a whole different ballgame being exposed to it by your own family members.

Wonder how that’s gonna play out years down the road…

  2. “I don't think this is something I would leave her for”

Have some self respect buddy! You will be able to land others. This is not your last relationship unless she drastically changes and starts respecting you!

  3. You have just to think this, if she's caught cheating, some laws benefit the not-cheating spouse. In regard to money and custody. Her life could be ruined if he decided to remain with everything because he will have ammo.

  4. I'm not saying it's a perfect system, just that you can avoid a good percentage of the people who are definitely not going to be on the same page as you in the event of unplanned pregnancy by getting that out of the way early.

Men are still 100% responsible for their own birth control.

  5. Well, but her circumstances have still changed dramatically, which likely means she is now feeling like she needs other friends. She is also presumably pretty busy, sorting out her new life, making new friends and getting on top of her new circumstances. I’m not trying to justify her actions, but in my experiences it is honestly pretty normal. You likely didn’t do anything wrong, she’s just in a different phase of her life.

I guess what surprises me most is, that you keep trying and trying, despite your ex friend’s clear lack of interest.

  6. My prior bf did a buzz cut one time and his head was bumpy and lumpy and right away I was kinda like…okay. I did not have a hissy fit though, cry and make a big deal about it. I forgot about it a few days later. I made sure to comment as it got longer and give him positive feedback anyway. To me, it is just a part of loving someone.

Give it a week or two. If she is still wiggy, maybe it is time to consider someone a little more deep and who can ride the waves a bit more adeptly.

  7. No, most people can't smell themselves after only one day of physical labor. You go nose blind to your own smell until it gets particularly rank.

  8. Honestly, no I didn't know that is what you meant. My own interpretation of her writing didn't have a negative tone.

  9. Stacking up arguments in an elaborated style. Pretty good.

Every sentence in itself is reason enough to leave that man.

But the final one is the final blow.

  10. I'm thinking this whole story feels fake as fuck, outrage bait in the most obvious way. “Her best friend thinks I'm just too handsome and wealthy for her, she offered to come over and 'support' me but I so kindly and chivalrously declined, now time for my very old, very expensive bottle of whiskey to drown my sorrows in at 25 years of age.”

  11. I’m so sorry you went through all of that but I feel as I’ve been through similar before. All women get put through alot and if we can’t share our stories then what do we do. It’s like we’re taught to be scared of our bodies n to hide for what reason. Obviously like you said its not limited to women but most men don’t grow up being thrown hygiene products in your face at a young age saying shave this or make sure you smell amazing, or being insecure because of the amount of vaginal wash and scented pads you walk by grocery shopping, men aren’t always told to cover up because somebody might take advantage, so as it’s not limited to gender, it’s nice for women to have a safe space to talk about/feel these things as most of us have grown up having similar feelings. Like I said I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through as it’s not fair ❤️?

  12. Lol I got a “oh yeah, happy birthday” from my husband haha! She is beyond greedy. You better prepare to be broke and miserable (but look happy for Instagram or TikTok ?)

  13. It might be enough for some.

It might be too much for others.

It might be just right for some others.

Stop worrying about what what is normal or what is right for anyone other than you.

Start asking yourself instead whether it too much for you.

What is not enough, too much, or just right for you is what matters.
