Don’t listen to the haters this is a totally valid fear. People stopping taking care of themselves once they have someone locked down is common, and it’s (in my opinion) much more unethical than politely asking someone to manage their weight better.
I’d ask her before proposing, if nothing else it will give you a good test to the relationship, and you’re way better off treading on toes now than later when there’s a ring on it. Just be super sensitive, let her know that you love her no matter what. Raw attraction and love are sometimes different, and that’s okay.
This goes without saying but you should lead by example too. If you’re living with her start doing the shopping, start buying healthier food, start working out and invite her to come with you. If you’re asking her to lose weight than you better be taking good care of yourself too…

Same! It's why I wanted to ask. I wasn't sure if it was more having multiple partners (but being open and communicative, more like McDreamy's character in Made of Honour, and less like Barney Stinson). Like I know I've met “players” and stuff but whenever they've tried to pit me against other women, I've walked. (In fact, it's happened often enough that I've had a couple of them come back and apologise and say they 'pick me' and I've been like 'Too bad, so sorry'.) I've had men who have been like 'I really really really like you' then play mind games and I've been like 'Too bad, so sorry', but I can't say I've properly gotten entangled with one because I've walked too quickly.
But according to Lonewolfblack, that's kind of what it is (playing with people's emotions). While I think people should do relatively whatever they want (if they don't hurt anyone). I'm super grateful to you taking the time to reply me and answer, and I do not think (at all) you were/are a bad person. I also think it's really awesome that you've evolved into a better person, and while I'm a nobody stranger on the internet, personally, I'm proud of you. Whatever your reason, you chose to be better because of it, and as we're all here on Reddit, I think we can all safely say that we've seen/read people do shitty things and have absolutely no introspection whatsoever, we can all say that it's rare that things like that actually happen.

I don't believe you should forgive your boyfriend. The way he treats you is emotionally abusive. You can find a relationship with all of the good parts from this one, but with someone who doesn't make you feel shitty.

Best case is that he just paid everything off and you are pay him back. That would be ok- as long as everything is honest. If he just wants to be paid back without interest- that would be extremely generous of him.
If he wants interest there are ways to calculate a fixed payment loan. Again that would be fine as long as you both agree.
If he has some sort of variable interest loan that could be bad. And get you into more trouble long term.
