She may also think you trying to approach her about it is you attacking her depending on how you're approaching it… There's a lot that could be going on here.
This is a really stupid reason to be upset. You can’t forbid a grown woman from eating when she would like. That you think this is reasonable is a red flag. Let it go. Actually, let it go and apologize for being a jerk. Because this is dumb.

18 year olds should date people close to their age like 18-21, in my opinion. He’s hella old for you and I say this as a woman in her early 30s. You’re so young and should be experience a relationship with someone who can relate with you and won’t try to exercise certain authority over you. I could see if you were 27 and he were 37 but you have so much to experience and a man that age can take advantage of that.
At least with a person your age, they can learn and grow with you and y’all will be on the same playing field with no power imbalance, if that makes sense. What the fuck is a 27 year old doing sniffing around 18 year olds anyway?

I think checking in a week or two is smart if you plan to keep dealing with this guy but just know that he did lie to you and he did use those with other people. He is probably not the one for you.
