  1. No. You need the courage to love yourself. I’m divorced after a 22 year marriage. (46F). It’s not ideal, but I reached the point where I had to choose myself, my sanity, my health and overall wellness. You may always love her, but it can be from a distance and you can open yourself up to the opportunities and relationships with someone who will love, cherish and respect you. I’m sorry. It’s so hard. It’s grueling. It’s terrible…until the clouds break and you’re on your way to doing and feeling better.

  2. She’s still friends with a guy she used to fuck and have a romantic interest in. It’s just plain naivety and ignorance to think that she was wouldn’t entertain something with him again given the opportunity.

From what I gathered from OP’s post, it HER always reaching out to him, asking how he’s been. The only reason she probably doesn’t have him right now is because he doesn’t want her.

  3. OP really buried the lede here on what would be the headline: “Boyfriend in love with cheating ex while getting married to fiance THREE years after separation.” This is a bad romcom. I would suggest holding off on wedding and asking fiance to take some time to work through his feelings. Therapy might help him work through why he still has feelings for his ex.

  4. It's a valid question. I felt supported by these people. They built me up, helped me grow as a parent, loved me and my child…

I love them. All of them. We had fun, and we learned from each other, and respected each other. We are all neurodivergent and so coexisting with other humans is difficult, but we all put in the work to be respectful and kind and supportive.

  5. That's fair, tho I feel like just saying “I wanna take you out” is a bit apprehensive, you know what I mean? Like I don't wanna be too forward
