From my perspective she’s not trying to control whether you date or not, or who you date, but more trying to let you know she won’t be okay with another woman having a role with your/her child. I would definitely confirm that the baby is in fact yours, but I otherwise think her request is pretty fair. I might say something like “I won’t be introducing anyone I may or may not be dating to the baby at any point unless it’s mutually agreed upon, and certainly not in their first year. I don’t expect this scenario will come up any time soon.”
