I'm very sure they were referencing OP AND her daughter. I assume family knew of OP for longer than 4 years (including pregnancy), back when she just came out of puberty. BIL was still 12 years older, he would've been in his early 30s. Yes they’re so used to me saying yes to everything they need and want me to do because I could never say no without them somehow understanding it as being a disrespectful kid, and they actually said to me the other day that I used to always say yes why do I keep saying no now!! It’s as if I don’t have a mind of my own to make decisions!
