I don’t see an issue raising a kid in an apartment for a year or two. We don’t live! near family and are still unsure if we’re moving back near them. It doesn’t make sense to buy a home and sell in a year or two. I’d rather rent longer and eventually buy a house.

He’s a grown man who wants a mommy to clean up after him. He probably deserves to know that he’s on his way out if things don’t change drastically and soon. This is the last thing you want if you also want kids. That would be a nightmare. I’m just validating your feelings.
