3. I don't have experience of this, but I also know that this is outrageously disrespectful to you by everyone involved.

   Trying to be very, very understanding, she had good reason to keep things quiet at the beginning. But nine months? No. Absolutely not.

   The same for your other friends. It's not their business to be involved, but after so long a time? To hide it, knowing it was a betrayal by your friend? And the fact is that they never kept out of it. They specifically ensured you would never find out. They choose a side and it wasn't yours.

   You're the best judge about whether you can mend your relationship with the larger friend group (or some of them). It'll take time to rebuild that trust. I definitely would not continue any contact with your 'best friend'.
