Thank you! I actually raised these to him and he told me that he’s with me now not with him because he loves me and sees a future with me. totally agree with this comment, especially given that she says she's been with “this guy” (not 'my boyfriend' or 'my partner') for only “a couple of months.” If you were married or had been together years, it might feel like more of a 'given' and less of a big deal for him to be masturbating in the bed you share. But given the newness of the relationship, it feels like it's crossing a big line.
This wife of OP has only ever been with him. That's it. First everything. Assuming First kiss, first date, first going down on anyone, first sexual partner. Many couples who are high school sweethearts or teenage sweethearts either grow closer together or divorce. She may feel like she missed out on something. Which doesn't excuse her cheating. But would OP have agreed to an open marriage arrangement if his wife asked, before this incident?
I commend the wife for her honesty, fraught as it is, and OP's willingness to hear her out. There will be lots of soul-searching needed, and counseling needed if they intend to survive as a couple. There is no magical answer to fixing this specific issue, one foot in front of the other, and one day at a time is all the advice that I can give you.
