3. This does sound like high school. But if your family hates your current partner things aren't likely to get any easier. Maybe try to address their reasons for disliking the girl instead of just focusing on their most recent casus belli. Sometimes parents are just tweaky about their kids' futures and any distraction will be an issue. But sometimes they have legitimate concerns, garnered by them using their greater life experience, and should be listened to. So find out what their problem is and see if you can mediate some kind of a truce. What you describe here sounds trivial to point of silliness. So if there's some underlying reason for it that would be the thing to work on.
