1. Right! I have a male bestie and I’m a lady. We do not fuck when we are single like that’s insane to think any bf or gf potential would be okay with that. I also always put my partner first! My best friend isn’t my best friend if he gets upset my romantic relationship is very important. Like I don’t neglect him but my partner gets most of my attention.

2. So many great comments here. Love them all. And, how did it make you feel? Did you talk to her mom about it? And how does Dad1 feel about it? If anyone is uncomfortable-figure out a name that might be better. Papa or whatever. And sit down with her and mom and let her know how much it meant to you to have her call you that. How proud you felt. And how much you love her. And, that it might make others feel sad and that you would like to come up with a name together. That works for everyone
