She had literally nothing to do with “how it all went.” The woman’s demand was insane, and also not how getting a haircut works.
I swear there’s like some unwritten rule of Reddit that the OP will only engage with the most absolutely clueless, wrongheaded takes about their situation. Case in point.
She does the bulk of the cooking and cleaning for your shared apartment
She does buy you gifts but you don't use them
She puts the flowers you give her in a vase but that's not enough “appreciation” for you
You don't even thank her when she says “bless you” after you sneeze
I have a very hot time believing this post is real because there's so little self-awareness. “Someone who does so much for her”? Surely you can't mean you. She cooks for you, she cleans up after you, and you…buy her flowers and sometimes pay for dinner? Gee, what a prince.
What do YOU do to show appreciation for HER? One would think that a good place to start would be pulling your weight in your own home instead of throwing her labor back in her face because “you didn't ask.” If she didn't cook or clean, would you step up and do it? Or would you complain about her being lazy? What exactly do you want her to appreciate, because the only thing you've listed that you actually do is buy flowers and she's already appreciating those by displaying them. So what else do you do for her that you think deserves more appreciation?
That is absolute lunacy and she should be ashamed of herself
I highly doubt your relationship is going to survive this

So you’re the one dating my ex.
It's over. Just break up, and both of you go on your separate ways.
So, let's get this straight.
