I mean further down in the comments he is all like “how my parents will find out my wife cheated”, dude she cheated on you, not your parents. If you need financial support from them, or you will be moving back home right after the confrontation with your wife, than sure, tell them first.
But in any other case, shouldn't this be a conversation between you and your wife without your parents? Or maybe this played a fair part in why she cheated?
Here’s something that helped me. A relationship should make you feel safe and secure. If you’re feeling unsafe and insecure (btw that second one isn’t always the problem it’s made out to be – some people need security and that’s perfectly okay) then this isn’t the relationship for you. And there’s nothing wrong with that. You deserve peace of mind.
That is pretty much the definition of hard and cold treatment which is never a good thing. It migh look attractive at the beginning but over time it becomes soul-sucking
You’re frustrated and you have every right to be. This incident would be less aggravating if you had more support throughout and this was a one time lapse of judgement, but it’s not.
I know it’s naked but try and put yourself in his position. 60 hours of work and a slipped disk. Longer term you should have a chat about household chores and responsibilities, focus on what isn’t working rather than making it personal. It may come down to the two of you needing to hire help, reconsidering priorities, or taking fewer hours at work. If you’ve already done that move on, if not give it a shot
