What advice do you even need? Whether you should do it? I don't think there's any harm but it just sounds extremely petty and won't really help uou move to a healthier space after this relationship. I doubt the plan would work too. After a couple of rounds in her wash, it would smell like her again and then you'd have just wasted your time.

That said, after I told her, she expressed her discomfort with it. I completely understand her perspective. However, just as I would never assume to tell her who/how she interacts with her friends and family, I don’t think it’s fair she feels she can do so with me.
So if she complained about your dick size, or being way to quick to come, or being vanilla or boring, you’d be okay with it?
To you, you are just discussing a problem in your relationship. To her, you are discuss intimate details tht INVOLVE her without her consent. And you are, albeit unintentionally, demeaning her role in your relationship to people she is not close to and not comfortable with knowing those aspects of her and your relationship.
This isn’t about being controlling, and you statement about controlling talks with friends is looking at it the wrong way. This is about divulging information concerning her without her consent.
To me it is no different than if she complained to her friends that you insert STD or potentially “embarrassing” /personal ailment because she wants to express how it frustrates her to people you don’t know very well. That’s not okay.
