With this picture added now i believe OP wasn't talking about a person, she was talking about a dog. My dog does all this (except for working, which would actually be nice of him): the whining, the sulking, the following and the never leaving my side for 5 years now.
Not trying to talk shit about OP's abusive situation, but that behaviour is only acceptable from a dog (or other pets), not a person.
