This is tough and complicated. Growing up as the eldest granddaughter is a thing that you experienced and your older sister did not. I totally understand how she resents you and is jealous that you got to have that experience and this family heirloom that goes with it. But it's over–the ring was given to you and is legally yours. It's OK that she asked, I understand her point of view, but you are within your rights to keep it and I hope she comes around and doesn't go NC over this. Going NC feels extreme and against the spirit of family. I could see you LENDING it to her to wear for a special occasion, but legally and morally its yours.
