Why aren't you voicing any of this to your partner? What kind of relationship are you in if you cannot even make your preferences be known? This seems to be a bigger issue than the breakfast.
Just tell him, “I appreciate all of your efforts, but no more breakfast in bed. I much prefer to make a cold coffee after I am up and out of the bedroom.”
And then remind him so he gets it: “Remember, tomorrow no breakfast in bed. I don't want you wasting your time and the food because I won't be eating it!”
