1. When I was a little kid, I only had one Christmas party with my dad's side of the family and I never knew them that well. Especially my great grandma. That year, she made all the grandkids sloth hand puppets and it was fair enough that she not put so much effort into my sister and I, seeing as she met me maybe once before as an infant and my sister never. But she still made us puppets. I've still got mine, 18-20 years later.

If you decide to stay with him maybe say “you have a need for other men who treat you like a person and not just a back burner until he finds someone to cheat with” your current bf is a walking red flag I'm sorry you're going through this. 3. Just a note: the reason someone tells you that they're breaking up with you is almost never the real reason. We don't always get clarity on breakups and we just have to deal with it. There's no litigating a breakup and people are under no obligation to enlighten you. Sorry.
