Your support would only lead him on further. I’ve been in your exact situation, and I was supportive at first which lead to further issues and hun trying to coax me back into a relationship.

Your mother initiated the divorce and blindsided your dad. Of course after 30 years of being married he wants companionship. But depending on the reasons your mother divorced him, his new wife will find out soon enough if he is husband material. And he will find out about her. They are strangers and it will take time to learn about the other one. Since they already have her tourist visa, she will be coming back with him so you can decide on her motives after you meet her. You can either support your dad if it goes wrong or have no contact with him if he ignores any warning signs. Just make sure she doesn’t have access to his money because she will probably be sending a lot back to Ukraine or just spending it on herself if that is what she is after. Your dad isn’t that old but he can still be an old fool around a manipulative woman.
