1. She has hit the nail on the head here and I can’t believe you don’t see it. It’s basic, if you give into bad behaviour you reinforce that behaviour. His mother is literally teaching your son that if something doesn’t go his way with a woman in his life, he merely needs to scream and shout and hit her until she complies. He’s fucking old enough to know this is wrong dude, did I scream at his age? Sure sometimes. Would I have ever laid a hand on my mother over it? Never.

   You need to parent your son because at the moment he’s a bully, and that’s a direct result of your parenting.

   Before you get defensive over me calling your son a bully, imagine if some boy at your daughters school asked her to give him some of her lunch, and she refused, and then that boy screamed abuse at her and hit her until she gave him her lunch. Is that a bully?
