You apologized and should move on. Not something to end the relationship over, especially considering it was so infrequent. If you do it again, that might be a problem.
I have caught him texting other girls and sending inappropriate pics. Which is considered cheating to me. He swears to me that is as far as it has ever went
my friend the best thing that has every happened to you walked out the door. don't ever let it back in, don't talk to it, don't text it and don't think about it again. there are women out there that don't care if you have 1 dollar or 1 mill in the bank and will care for you just for you. Find that person.
yes, I understand being alone for a long time makes finding someone after all that time hard, but don't ever settle you deserve the best. best of luck OP.
When their earlier reasons for why you shouldn’t are “it’s morbid and creepy” and “you’re being selfish on your wedding day”, it definitely was NOT “for your own good”.
They stole the dress to make themselves feel more comfortable. It’s easier for them if they don’t have to think about your daughter at the wedding. It’s easier for them if they don’t have to think about the fact that they bullied a grieving mother into a wedding she clearly stated she didn’t want right now. Knowing that you are doing something to honor her at the wedding doesn’t allow for them to pretend that everything is great, so they had to force you to do what they want by stealing the dress.

Your girlfriend sounds incredibly insecure.
He also probably felt bad and completely deleted them or they are backed up off the phone

So many people, my fiancé and my mum, said it was morbid and creepy and I was making a happy, joyous occasion all about me and my grief.
