She’s being incredibly small-minded, as someone who was in an abusive relationship with another woman. Gender has nothing to do with it.
Yeah but women do abuse (at all) so there is a chance she is an abuser. Apparently she thinks there's a chance you are. What % chance is the threshold for going to therapy and getting a background check? She has to do it as well imo otherwise it's just a manipulative power play to make sure she comes out on top somehow, which coupled with the lack of empathy for how you might feel is really not good at all.
Yeah the fact that she’s telling her friend that you lost your boner and she said it was one of the worst experiences of her life would probably seal the deal for me. If I had thought there was a chance for reconciliation and then found out she was bad mouthing me like that to her friends, I wouldn’t have any desire to move past it.
I think you should tell her you saw the message. That’s a really fucked up thing for her to do and if you just bury it and act like it never happened, it’s going to breed resentment and this relationship will end later rather than sooner.
