Update: we talked, as we always do because I am entirely too patient and forgiving. He said he blocked her number (but didn’t delete it) and still won’t block her on social media. He showed me the text he last sent her that said “our relationship is hurting (me) and I want to be with her. I’m sorry but I need to let you go for good.” I appreciate everyone’s advice. This is incredibly important. While I agree that something needs to be done about him, the act of reporting someone; recounting everything that happened in vivid detail, is something that can be intensely re-traumatizing. Even moreso if the police prove to be apathetic and nothing is done about it. OP's got to take care of herself and her health first, even if we didn't online in a society that can be more focused on victim-blaming than investigation.
