Nope, not on this one. He is asking you to drop it so he can be accepted and loved in your family, and he is not understanding that what she is doing is not accepting or loving him. This is a situation where you need to sit him down and explain why what she is doing is not okay, and what you are going to do about it. You can take his input to a degree, but you need to make it clear to him that you two are not fighting because of him, but that you are fighting for him.
