Yep I was clearly missing the whole picture (rent, bills etc). Makes way more sense now. OP has walked all over her daughter. It feels like she resents the daughter due to relationship with daughters father and blames everything on this. When really, she's just been horribly unfair.
Hopefully OP opens her eyes and actually sees how naked her daughter has been trying. This was just too much for her daughter, and it's very understandable.
Is the property big enough that you and him can build a place on it? Or have a trailer or something of your own space? If you’re wanting to try to work with him still, a little separation from his mother would do a TON to help. The other red flag I see here is that he’s taking care of his mother by just replacing his dad. This isn’t a healthy dynamic, and one I see that he won’t be putting you first in your marriage. They both need therapy to work this out, but ultimately who matters the most in doing therapy would be him. Otherwise if he’s unwilling to do therapy and you aren’t able to have your own space, I’d highly suggest rethinking your relationship.
