This bit about him keeping an eye out at your workplace: that’s super creepy. There is nothing good about this guy he’s manipulating you to make it harder for you to move on.

Excellent point! It sounds like her friends are more important than her bf. I remember a few weeks ago on a post one girl constantly did that to her bf, he planned a anniversary trip, she invited her friends without telling him until a few days before. He was going to propose he ended up not proposing, and leaving the trip early. He broke up with her when she got back from the trip. That's why it's a good idea for OP to set that as a boundary for any friends.
So many people in here are talking about if its ethical or legal etc for her to do that…
but here is where I stand. WHY did they stop their professional relationship? Was it because he no longer needed therapy? It definitely doesn't sound that way. He is displaying red flags that would need therapy to address. Is it because they got close during their sessions and decided to end their professional relationship to pursue a personal one?
No matter the reason the end result is this: He's been cheating on you. Maybe not physically (even though going on dates with her and not telling you is definitely physical) but DEFINITELY emotionally. She 'understands him' and he's emotionally cheating on you with her and she ended their professional relationship because she KNOWS it's unethical.
A huge Nope for me. This is supposed to be the time when both of you are the most attracted to each other and getting it on like bunnies!! None of this is your fault, he’s projecting a bunch of his own crap onto you. But it won’t get easier with marriage and kids, those things really challenge the bedroom. You deserve a lot better, and as a parting shot you could mention that maybe his dick is just too small for average vaginas and good luck with that!!
