   There is no planet on which you should be catching flak because a friend you threw away (twice) at his behest happens to be taking a class you're in. There's no planet on which you should dump a friend because you're dating someone who doesn't trust you. If Bob was an ex, there would be a little more room for nuance but Bob's not an ex.

   The only person I feel bad for in this is poor Bob, who probably deserves far better than to be treated as a disposable convenience.    My advice is to stop comparing yourself to other women and work on building your own personality, individuality, values, morals, etc.

   Comparison is the thief of joy.
