Yeah, obviously she shouldn't have done that. She seems to be the one who is being “controlling” here. I think it's a bad situation and the only power you really have is the power to leave. You need to talk to a lawyer about it, and I'm not a lawyer. I worry that it would be messy and expensive, but this state of affairs seems to be almost intolerable. Maybe you can find another woman (perhaps even one in a similar situation to yourself) and try to get full custody. Again, I'm not a lawyer so I don't know if that would be possible. Maybe a therapist could help (for you, not couple's therapy). You need advice and support, and I'm just a random stranger on reddit, so I can't do more than give my opinion.
Nahhhh as someone who has been on dozens of business trips, even ones with 800+ of us coming from different parts of the country and renting out a hotel, we never have to share rooms. Especially not with the opposite sex. It’s unprofessional of their boss to expect that, and odd of her to be okay with it.
