I’m noticing the faults in her that I don’t like (extremely messy, can’t be held accountable, lack of direction in life, overall very mentally immature) that can’t be changed as I’ve asked several times for things to be improved or worked on. I’m noticing the vast differences between us as people that make us not as compatible as we once were (when we want a family, where we would live!, political views this is a frequent one lately as she is far left and i am somewhere in the middle with more right leaning conservative values).
Based on this, I'd break up since it doesn't sound like you're confident about a future with this individual. No sense in dragging out something you don't see value in and that you're starting to dislike.
Whether or not that's an internalized homophobia thing with the imagining a guy, that's something I'd unpack with a therapist.
