So, I think this is kind of a semantic issue with the word “identify”. “I identify as x” is generally used as a literal description of who/what you are. “I identify with x” can be more nebulous and is more about how you feel. When you say you don't identify as human – are you trying to communicate that you literally some sort of supernatural entity, or that you are genuinely not human in a literal sense? Or are you trying to communicate that you have a lot of complicated feelings around the concept of being human and being referred to as such?
I think you'd get a lot more understanding from your friends by communicating the latter. You can say that phrases like “we're only human” etc are triggering to you, and ask that people avoid them.
