In the short run it may suit you well to have a Senior Partner, who will take care of you, teach you about adult life, and take major responsibilities and difficult decisions off your inexperienced shoulders. In the long run, though, it doesn't bode well. Junior Partners usually grow tired of being treated as the lesser of two equals. It's ironic that the leadership qualities and behaviors that the Junior Partner admired and welcomed in the beginning are the same ones that ultimately made Senior Partner seem controlling and insufferable.
