I know you're young, but the earlier you build a backbone the better. There's a lot of overly apologetic, enabling, bending over backwards to accommodate people who would never the do the same for you (see: your boyfriend) in this post. You need to start recognising where the fault doesn't lie with you, but with others, and to cut lose the relationship when appropriate. It's a valuable skill.
