You’re absolutely right! I’m not from the troupe that believes that getting married / having children before 30 is a terrible idea, but your early 20s are for you to figure out who you are and your late 20s are to facepalm about most of what you did in your early 20s.
I’m about to turn 31 and you can’t imagine how different I am from my 18 year old self. I met my husband at 23, got married at 27, and in those four years there were LOTS of emotional and personal growth, individually and as a couple. You’re going to change so much even if you don’t believe it, and while marriage can be romantic, it is legally binding yourself to someone else, and that shouldn’t be taken lightly!
