I think these are “tip of the iceberg” examples. I’m betting there are a lot of things she just can’t part with, and coming across bags of pet hair (and since she won’t respond to how much hair she’s hoarded, I’m guessing it’s an alarming amount) just pushed him over the edge.
Your feelings are valid but also, you were teenagers. He was a dumb teenage boy who was nervous when he was put in the spot. That is absolutely not a representation of the life you’ve built and love you’ve shared. I think maybe you want a reason out? I’m sorry if that is forward but I just feel like this is such a trivial comment from when you were completely different people that there’s something underlying here. Your fiancé and you have grown immensely in 7 years. The difference in mindset between 19 and 26 is staggering. I think maybe you should think about if it’s really that comment that is pushing you to end things.
Don't bother guys. They've misgendered the sister's boyfriend. Clearly just a biggot that wants to hate the only trans person in this story.

Never do so! 8 billion people, there is nobody so special that you couldn’t find something similar elsewhere
“Before” he met her. That’s the operative word.
Dear god.
Don’t be in a relationship.
Get therapy. What you did was fucked up.
