2. Always difficult to tell with this sort of thing. However, the amount of conversations I’ve had with female friends that start with ‘why do men always think you’re into them when I’m just being nice’ tells me you should be cautious.

   If you like her, I’d privately ask her if she wants to go out some time. If she says no, don’t say ‘but what about [insert all the signs you think you’ve seen]’. Telling a woman that her normal friendly behaviour leads people on will likely lead her to go within herself more. Women already have to tailor the way they are around men enough without adding something else for her to worry about.

   Yes, date night generally means sex, but not all of the time. We usually will either cook dinner or go out to dinner, watch TV or a movie, or play a game.

   I appreciate your insight here. I will have a conversation with her about this. I guess I'm just unsure of how to easily bring it up without making her fee
