Bit of a different take here, but the Husband’s coworker is married – if they’re telling the truth about staying at one of her family friends’ places that extra night, then it seems like a good way to protect herself and/or ensure propriety until they could catch a flight home?
It’s not often people having affairs are brazen enough to take the person they’re seeing to a family friend’s place to spend the night.
Just an observation, but again it hinges on whether they told the truth about where they stayed. And even if it is, you may still have a more one-sided problem where your Husband just failed to cheat with the coworker.
