Im worried health wise, if she is ready to get pregnant / have sex, isn’t it going to bother her? what if she gets sick or she can’t do it?
I was so excited for my dad’s present one year. I knew it was something he would absolutely love, but hadn’t talked about wanting. It was pricy, so I had already talked to my siblings about going in together for his gift. This was in the begging of November. What does he excitedly show me the weekend before thanksgiving? That’s right, that exact thing that was going to be his gift. I was so mad.
Since that year, there is now a family prohibition on any purchases for yourself between November 1st and December 25th.
Hey of course I can't make these changes that are required overnight, but it's the change in action that I've taken. I bought her some gifts, had more time and patience for her actions. We both fell into the seasonal depression and neither of us are at our best currently.
So when I had mentioned the party to her, it was casually on the couch together. I didn't think it was a big deal that I'd need 3 hours out of the weekend. The party doesn't allow +1's otherwise she'd be with me.
We typically make plans the weekend prior to the next weekend. She mentioned she was very busy this week with friends and told me her plans. So I kept 3 days open for her, in the same text I told her I was going to the party . I was not trying to avoid her and she was the light of my life, I felt 6 days was enough of a heads up to make some adjustments to plans that were never set.
I think these issues are compounded by her lack of smoking. We have our relationship problems as adults, but we should be able to be level headed and talk them out. Her reaction was so explosive.
I'm with your sisters on this, your friend wasn't joking, she was getting vicious barbs in whenever she could and your so called friends are just as bad for making excuses for her.

You can't make someone into your perfect partner, honestly this post comes off as really braindead and entitled. So many of the women around here would kill to have their husband make a 180 like this and you're complaining that he's too good now.
