My partner earns at least five times as much as me, but I only stopped working for money when the kids were small, because I had unemployment benefit for the first and qualified for paid parental leave for the second. The minute my daughter started nursery school, I was off to a new job and a new career that I taught myself while on parental leave.
She sounds like an absolute nightmare. Relationships are supposed to make you happy.
You need to have a talk with her. Let her know your limitations on constant communication. You are not wrong for wanting less than she does. Figure out what works for you and let her know. At the same time, she is not wrong for wanting more — and she should voice her preference as well. Then, it's a matter of figuring out if the two of you are willing to compromise for each other's happiness or not. If not, I'd say the relationship doesn't really stand a chance.
So have the conversation, acknowledge that you have different preferences, and see if it can be worked out.
