The violence argument doesn't pan out at all either.
Option 1: Trans person tells their prospective partner that they are trans before anything sexual happens.
Option 2: Trans person declines to tell their prospective partner that they are trans, has sex with them and then tells their partner they are trans or the partner otherwise figures out when the topic of kids comes up or someone lets slip etc.
In option 1 it keeps both sides informed and if anything goes forward from there then there was full consent. If the person reacts violently then they were going to do even worse when they learn after the fact.
In option 2, people who would have ended the relationship will feel deceived and instead of being able to leave the relationship without any strings attached, they will now have been in a sexual relationship that they would never have agreed to if they had known which can make them react in all sorts of inwardly and outwardly destructive ways.
If a trans person fears their SO might attack them if they tell them the truth before sleeping with them, what in the fuck do they think their SO will do when they find out after having slept with them?
I would prefer that people making this argument just admit that they aren't worried about violence, they just want trans people to be free to lie by omission and damn the consequences.
Pretty sure this is in the college handbook. Chapter 3.

Itβs a rhetorical question. I think your post is excellent
