A spray tan can sometimes hide some of the pudginess or skin imperfections like stretch marks etc. To get ripped over night I recommend contouring fake muscles. To someone who doesn’t have experience self tanning. You could get a spray tan and ask if they can spray tan muscle outlines. Nothing to extreme so it doesn’t look obviously fake but in dim/romantic lighting light contouring could look great. And yes workout before enough to get blood flow to muscles and thus pumping them up from being swollen with blood. As for balding you can get a hair cut and ask for hair fiber/ hair shadow to fill in in a bit on the bald spots. Again nothing to fake looking so it blends with the hair you do have.

For me, the worst part of this is her response when you try and talk to her about it. She dismisses and invalidates you. I think if you can’t have a conversation with her about how that makes you feel, and feel respected in your relationship, then you have a pretty big problem.
