Rape is not cheating. Having encounters/dates/relationships when you are broken up is not cheating. Tbh I personally don't think that kissing or anything is cheating when you are on a break unless you both agree not to do anything with anyone else while on the break.

Your partner's reaction may add to the trauma you have suffered from the whole situation.
