It's unfortunate but 2 weeks in between jobs (which him leaving without consulting you is dickish btw) is a lot different than 2 months when you were already in a bad financial spot (for such a volatile industry, being unable to survive for 2 months during a downturn means you were already barely scraping by or not saving properly)

Single lady with a cute condo in a vacation town, gorgeous rescue dogs, and endless road trips talking to you.
