I feel as though this comparison isn't fair. Being disabled is far different than your physical looks. It's more personal than having big boobs.
Not really, when your mom or significant other gives you a compliment it’s an act of love and perhaps desire and it doesn’t mean it’s not valid but there is a certain expectation of it, when a stranger or acquaintance gives you a compliment they have no reason to flatter you just a genuine feeling of “wow you are really _____”.
So it’s natural for the compliment to feel like there’s more “proof” it’s true and genuine if it’s from someone who isn’t socially expected to give it.
My advice is pretty clear – don’t be friends with people who believe in conspiracy theories, insult you, and think dark skin is ugly which is pretty freaking racist.
If she has a teen /preteen daughter, then yeah, you're either gonna need to cover up, or she and her child would be better off moving out if it's getting uncomfortable
Honestly she could’ve been just wanting to not hurt your feelings, and assumed you’re in social media and would see it. I’ve had friends be very upset that I was in town and I didn’t hit them up. It’s possible she was being an asshole, but if she normally isn’t, it could be that she was trying to look out for your feelings.
Idk why this was downvoted so hot, there’s nothing wrong with optimism and relationships always hit rough patches that can be overcome.

No doubt! In fact, I would go ahead and emphasize that I think it was pretty cruel of her to see her exhausted man, and decides this is the time to try to initiate sex, then try to shame him afterwards when he didn’t have the energy.
