I remarried frankly a woman who is some sort of super human. She's just…better…than everyone else. She's smarter, more athletic, incredibly competent at everything, and…shes pretty good looking and a snappy yet understated dresser.
You're putting her on a pedestal or trying too very hot to minimize her anger. You both have real issues. She feels like she is sacrificing what she wants for your ex wife's choices, maybe even more than she expected or agreed to before you got married. She's allowed to have feelings. It sounds like a lot have been bottled up. Marriage counseling would be the best approach for you can make that work. It will just keep getting worse until you both deal with this.
