i have personally experienced narcissistic abuse. it completely changed my life. have you ever had behaviours you struggled to control? i am absolutely not the victim here and i understand that but of course i, a victim of narcissistic abuse, am going to have a strong reaction when a a stranger on the internet accuses me of being a narc. and of course i want to explain my behavior, why would i just tell you something i did without explaining? i am going to delete this post soon because obviously i was wrong and was too aggressive. i owe my friend a profuse apology and she would be completely justified if she doesn’t want to be friends anymore after this but it is hurtful to be spoken to like i’m not a person by you. obviously i have learned that i exhibit some abusive behaviors, which is genuinely horrifying to me. i know i’m in the wrong. i just cannot feel like every piece of my identity is worthless and undeserving of friendship and you’re talking to me like i’m scum.
You sound like a mature adult who wants to communicate, discuss and compromise. He sounds like a toddler in an adult body who does what he wants. Stop doing any cooking for him. Tell him you forgot. If he gets mad point out the chores he won't do and won't accept reminding on. He's very content to let you do it all and to wait out your kind reasonableness. Don't do his laundry. I think you need to give up on the idea of buying a house with this guy. His hobby is more important to him. And if you want kids, you need a different partner. Selfish people who don't do chores and get mean when mad are horrible coparents.

OK, you need to find someone who does want to have kids. Forcing someone to have a child is a horrible thing to do. Tricking someone into doing so is even worse. It's time to cut your losses and find a guy who wants kids. If he's wishy washy don't stay.
