bit more than a year ago my country went into lockdown again and at that same time I also started playing Apex Legends.
that game was like crack for me. just like your boyfriend I got super addicted to it and started playing 8 hours a day. this went on for a few months, eventually returning to healthy amounts.
I didn’t have a relationship but in that time I fucked myself over completely. Barely done any uni work, started seeing my friends less and less and barely got out of the house.
anyway, I think the best way to help or save your relationship is to get your boyfriend to not play it for a few days or a week to detox. he can play it after that, but that game can be like crack and taking a break from it could maybe help get your boyfriend get a reality check. that is what worked for me anyway.
