how old is the cat? unless it’s a very, very young kitten, there should be no reason you can’t leave the cat alone for a couple hours as long it’s in a safe and controlled environment. to me, it seems like she’s not respecting your time, however, it’s kind of unclear whether or not this is a cat you share or just her cat that you’re taking care of. if it’s a cat you share, that makes the situation slightly different. nevertheless, i think communication is always the best option. talk to her and tell her how you feel, and how that conversation goes will help you determine whether or not she’s actively disrespecting you or if it’s just a misunderstanding.
